Lombard Street, created in the 1920's to navigate
the 40-degree slope of Russian Hill, is known as
"The Crookedest Street in the World." Beautifully
landscaped gardens co-exist peacefully with tortuous
hairpin turns, creating a photogenic vista unique to
San Francisco.

Lombard Street also snakes its way down the front
